Meagan Good was born on 8th August, 1981 from Panorama City in Los Angeles. Her parents were both her grandparents Leondis Leon Good and Tyrawardlow-Doyle. When she began acting, she was just four years old, after being raised in Canyon Country with her siblings. Early in her career she worked as an extra in television shows such as Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. She was 13 when she first got a role in the film Friday. In 1997 she got noticed for her part in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste who is a troubled teenager. She was awarded her first N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award nomination. Good performed small film roles as well as television roles during a couple of years prior to becoming more experienced in her roles. The actress began her screen career during 2010 when she appeared on the web series If You Can Dream. After appearing in a variety of local plays Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in in the first season of Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. This series focused on the performers who moved into the same Hollywood California house.
