Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow was born to Christian parents in Cologne, Germany, and had three siblings. At the age of 17, her parents split up. The company they owned failed and caused additional financial difficulties. Being anorexic and bulimic further added to her woes. Gossow said that there's an appropriate time and location to take everything into consideration in the decision of stepping down from the band ARCH ENEMY. She is its lead vocalist. Arch Enemy each has their section that is admired for various reasons. In a retrospective of the band their founder guitarist Michael Amott named his top three favorites songs from three vocalists.
