Chaka Khan

Chaka Khan is a famous American singer-songwriter. Her name is also her infamous nickname, The Queen of Funk. Her career spans more than five decades, she has won a total of ten Grammys. Billboard listed her as the 65th most famous dancer in history. Her birthplace was in Chicago, Illinois and introduced to jazz at an early stage by her maternal grandmother. Early in her career, she played in various bands. In the later years, she was part of a group that was named Rufus. She released her first album with the band at the twenty-year mark. The following year, the group received the first Grammy. The singer released her debut self-titled album only a few years later than her solo debut. After that, she released numerous albums over the years, such as 'Echoes Of An Era", 'The Woman I Am', and 'Funk This'. Apart from her work in music, she's been recognized as a charitable persona.
