Alicia Silverstone and Alyson Michalka
Her parents are Monty Silverstone and Deidre Raford. Her half siblings are from her dad's prior marriage. She is from a middle-class background and was brought up in San Francisco. Silverstone began modeling at age six and was then featured in her very first TV commercial in the name of Domino's Pizza. Silverstone was a graduate of the San Mateo High school, Crocker Middle school and Crocker Middle. In 1992 she played her first part with credit in the television show The Wonder Years. The show was highly praised for her performance by both critics and the audience, and was awarded an award. That same year, she was seen on two Aerosmith's video music clips Cryin and Amazing. The year 1993 saw her made an appearance in television films such as Torch Song and Scattered Dreams. It was followed by a principal role in the telefilm movie Cool and the Crazy (1994). Her biggest breakthrough acting in 1995, when she appeared as Cher Hoowitz for Clueless which was a sleeper success.
